Tomato Soup

Today has been a soup kind of day. Not actually cold or wet or wintery even, but I feel sick; the kind of sick that leads to thoughts of soup. Soup is all I wanted for dinner - I got off the bus and bought an over-priced can of tomato soup, which was actually really yummy.
I hardly slept a wink last night and woke this morning with a funny-throat; sore but not. Anyways, I survived the day, though my eyes are killing me now... its 7pm and I'm about ready to curl up and sleep (and, sadly, I plan to do that very shortly).
And it was a Monday that I survived - those are always horrid! Potentially even more horrid if the previous Friday night was a "corporate event" (booze up). Luckily for me, I didn't dance on any tables. My time on the door taking names wasn't as sad as I thought it would be. Plus free wine and food... in my case, too much free wine. I was home and crashed by 10pm - I woke up when my brother (and flatmate) came home at 2am with my ear-plugs still in my hand!
Saturday and Sunday whizzed by - I watched a spanish film 'What have I done to deserve this?' and a darling French film 'A Common Thread'.
Also, finished the book 'Pay it Forward' - I've not seen the movie, but man is the book good!! Very emotional though...
Ok, that's me done - boring but true. I'm going to tuck myself in now. But before I do:

Today's strangest homeless-person-asking-for-money-sign: Ninjis stole my family (as seen on Queen Street)
