Complete New Moon tracklisting

I was forwarded this today, cementing what I was saying earlier about this soundtrack being... well, all kinda of awesome!

After weeks of rumors and speculation, we finally have the tracklist for the Twilight: New Moon soundtrack, aka the album that will help millions of teenage girls make that tumultuous transition from goth and pop-punk brooding to indie brooding.

According to Twilight scribe Stephenie Meyer's website, Thom Yorke really does contribute a new song exclusive to the soundtrack. It's called "Hearing Damage" (perhaps a meta-commentary on the effects of Twilight's dialogue?). And he's not alone.

There's also new stuff from Grizzly Bear, Lykke Li, the Killers, and-- possibly most intriguing-- a collaboration between Bon Iver and St. Vincent called "Rosyln" (which is not the name of a Twilight character, according to this list I just found on Wikipedia). As previously reported, Death Cab for Cutie created the soundtrack's first single, "Meet Me on the Equinox".

If this doesn't reinforce Nitsuh Abebe's excellent Decade in Indie piece, I don't know what does ((ED: Indie music lovers, read this article - it's brilliant. So good, I am going to post it again separately!)).

The Twilight: New Moon soundtrack is out October 20 on Chop Shop/Atlantic.
