Happy New Years

NYE is normally an anticlimax for me - of course, I do appreciate the two days we get off. But this year I truly felt like celebrating. 2012 certainly had ups and downs; I am glad to see the back of it, and I welcome 2013! I have a new job starting in February that I am excited about - a fantastic feeling of a new beginning!

Myself, my friend Alex, and my brother discussed how we'd like to see in the New Year, and we all agreed on treating ourselves to a fancy dinner out, followed by watching the Sky Tower fireworks.

Number 5 - 2012 New Year's Eve Menu

1. Atlantic scallop carpaccio: Mayonnaise, shiitake, puffed tapioca

2. Buffalo Mozzarella: Tomato water, nasturtium, garlic croutons

3. Soft shell crab: Pork belly, shellfish bisque

4. Gameford Lodge Quail: Potato gratin, cherries, liquorice, hazelnuts

5. Chocolate delice: Basil, lemongrass sorbet, meringue

Our meal was absolutely delicious!! The perfect way to see in 2013 with friends and family.
